Welcome to Garden Valley Elementary SchoolGarden Valley Elementary is a culturally, economically, linguistically, and socially diverse school of 450 students located just north of downtown Sacramento. One third of our student population is African-American and another third is Hispanic. Nearly fifteen percent of our students come from Asia. Our teaching staff members bring a wealth of experience and talents that serve and support our mission and the goals of Del Paso Heights School District. We view education as a partnership between home, school and community. Our school's success will rest on parental concern and involvement. We encourage all parents to become involved in their child's educational experience here at Garden Valley. Also as partners in Education, we received a $1,500.00 grant from the Wells Fargo Foundation and awards from the Sacramento Urban League for the Sacramento Monarchs "Kids Clinic". |
